Proof That Everything good comes with a price...

So, as few of you know, Im pretty much and amateur BMXer-wannabe kid, and, I pretty much cant do shit on my bike [img]tongue.gif[/img] But i've started doing manuals (new-fangled term for a type of wheelie) and I've finally started landing them, rather than scraping up my leg with a moving tire.....


then tonight happened, everything was good, and there's a huge post office near me that has big empty roads that trucks come down usually (post office wasn't open or something, though) so I used it to practice, open parking lot and a long road, Im doing manuals, popping onto the sidewalk and off of, and what happens on one of my last manuals of the night? my front tire hits sideways, squeaks against the road, and dives down, taking me with it


it was complicated, but some part of the bike that doesn't move hit the ground, but it didn't stop me from moving, I flipped off the bike, with ONE SHOE on, and did two fulls rolls into the middle of the street.... yay


Im lucky there were no trucks, because the coming bombing down that road, and even hop the curb on the turn, and Im talking full 18 wheelers, but instead, I got up and walked away with a bashed wrist, ankle, hip, scraped and bleeding elbow, and grazed palms of my hands (there goes "me time" [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]wink.gif[/img] )

anywhoo, Im in pain, and just got sick, but Im lucky it was cold so I wore a hoodie, why I just made a post of all of this, I dont know why.....


OH! And I watched "American Splendor".... pretty damn good "weird" little flick, I reccomend it, but watch it later at night, and dont go into it hyper, and it'll be more enjoyable, possibly....
